I’m a birth worker born and raised in the Bay Area, currently based in San Francisco. I was trained to cultivate a practice based in community, inclusivity and anti-racism which I am proud to prioritize in an informed, personalized and judgement-free care model.

I trained alongside my mother with Cornerstone Doula Trainings, a mother/daughter run program founded in Oakland, CA. I learned from a collective of skilled midwives and doulas who teach a harm-reduction, reproductive justice oriented model of full spectrum care. I am honored to be part of the collective of Cornerstone Birth Work practitioners who are committed to, “eliminating inequalities in reproductive health care and beyond.” I centralize these values in my practice.

Reproductive advocacy is my passion.

In addition to my birth work practice, I am a medical sociology doctoral candidate— my research focuses on reproduction, gender and motherhood in the US. I’ve studied the effects of COVID-19 on reproduction and reproductive decision making, and currently conduct research at a reproductive psychiatric clinic focused on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. My findings have confirmed the importance of hands on reproductive advocacy, and have inspired me to pursue this work.

In addition to my birth work training, I am also a certified yoga teacher, and have a passion for mindfulness meditation and nutrition. I bring a grounded offering of these practices to my clients.

My dual perspective on childbirth equips me as a well-researched and confident advocate and ally during your reproductive experience.
